With a medical career spanning more than four decades, Dr. Roy Kadair has often cared for more than one generation his patients’ families. As a Baton Rouge native, it was an easy step to attend LSU, earning his B.S. from the University in 1967. He then moved to New Orleans where he attended the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and earned his M.D. in 1971. Dr. Kadair then made a major move to the west to Denver, Colorado where he performed his internship and residency at the Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, completing his program in 1975 followed by his service in the Army through 1977.

Returning to Louisiana, Dr. Kadair joined The Baton Rouge Clinic as an internal medicine specialist in 1977 and over his years of medical practice, served on several medical boards including the General Health Board of the Baton Rouge General Medical Center and the Pennington Bio Medical Research Foundation. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and also a member of the East Baton Rouge Parish Medical Society, the Louisiana State Medical Society, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Kadair has been included on the Best Doctors in America list, an honor given annually to physicians across the nation from more than 40 specialties, since 1996.

Among his community service work, Dr. Kadair served as a board member of the YMCA-Metro in Baton Rouge. He and his wife live in Baton Rouge and among his hobbies, he includes snow skiing and hunting. Dr. Kadair is not accepting new patients at this time.
