She attended LSU Medical School in New Orleans where she received her M.D. in 2007. Dr. Belsom completed an Internal Medicine residency at Earl K. Long Hospital in June, 2010 and a fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in June, 2012. Dr. Belsom is board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Rheumatology.
