75 Years of Caring for Generations

In 1946, four physicians returned from World War II and established The Baton Rouge Clinic. The idea of a group practice, especially a multispecialty practice, was a new concept. Some ridiculed the idea, but our founders were ahead of their time. They understood the value of physicians working together, both in terms of improved patient care and better efficiency.

From its inauspicious beginnings, The Baton Rouge Clinic has grown into the largest independent medical group practice in the state of Louisiana with over 150 physicians and multiple locations. We remain committed, now more than ever, to providing the highest quality of care for our patients and community- a tradition that our organization has upheld for 75 years.
