On February 27, 2021, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that the Johnson & Johnson vaccine has been approved for administering to the public.
The physicians at The Baton Rouge Clinic encourage and support vaccination for all of our patients, regardless of the manufacturer. We do not know which vaccine we will be receiving, but we will be administering whichever vaccine we receive. We strongly advise our patients to get vaccinated as soon as they are eligible with whichever vaccine is available to them.
