Brandi Boren, APRN, FNP-C, AG-ACNP-C

Brandi Boren was originally born in Indiana, but has called Louisiana her home for more than 25 years now. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Our Lady of the Lake School of Nursing in 2015, and her Masters of Science in Nursing degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama in 2022.

Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Brandi spent several years working as an RN in the Baton Rouge General’s Emergency Department. She holds a dual certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP). She also holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and completed the Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification through the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA). Brandi holds a Compact RN license, is licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of Louisiana, and is a member of the American Nurses Association. She joined The Baton Rouge Clinic’s Hospital Medicine / Long-Term Care Department in September 2022.

Brandi is engaged with a wedding planned for the Spring, 2023. She loves practicing medicine and has always been passionate about caring for others. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, traveling, and raising her two wild pups and kitties.
