Daniel C. Hammett, MD

Dr. Daniel C. Hammett is a native of West Monroe, LA, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Louisiana Tech University in 2003 and his Medical Degree from the Saba University School of Medicine in Saba, Dutch Antilles (part of The Bottom, Caribbean Netherlands) in 2021. Dr. Hammett completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Baton Rouge General in 2024, where he served as Chief Resident in his last year. He joined The Baton Rouge Clinic’s Hospital Medicine Group in the Summer of 2024.

Dr. Hammett is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association. Additionally, Dr. Hammett was inducted into the Alpha Omega Phi Honor and Service Society for academic excellence in 2017.

Dr. Hammett has two daughters, and when he is not at the hospital, he enjoys golf, hockey, and traveling.
