Patrick S. Beshears, a native of Fort Hood, Texas, earned his Associate degree in Nursing from Charity School of Nursing in 2015, his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2017, and his Master of Science degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from Walden University in 2024. Patrick joined The Baton Rouge Clinic’s Hospital Medicine Program in the Spring of 2024.
Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Patrick served as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse in the United States Army and worked as an ICU nurse at Slidell Memorial and Baton Rouge General. Patrick currently serves as a Captain in the United States Army Reserves as an ICU nurse.
He is a licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and FNP in the state of Louisiana and has a Compact Registered Nurse license in the state of Mississippi. He holds certifications in trauma care, in combat casualty care, and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Patrick is married, and when not at the hospital, he enjoys landscaping, rock climbing, and snowboarding.
