Toni Lascaro Smith, a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), and a native of Amite, Louisiana. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from Louisiana State University in 2006. In 2012, Toni changed her career path to nursing and earned her Associates Degree in Nursing from the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University. From there, she went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2016, and then her Master’s Degree in Nursing in 2020, from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Toni holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and is a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN). In 2020, she became a certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Toni is a member of both the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Toni is a parishioner of St. Alphonsus Ligouri Catholic Church and volunteers as a nurse for Camp Ozark during the summertime. While not at work, she enjoys going to the beach, Disney World, reading non-fiction books, and spending time with her husband and two children.
