SUMMARY

The Epic Clinical Application Analyst works with Baton Rouge Clinic leaders and stakeholders on several aspects of tasks that supports operational changes required to maintain the Epic Electronic Health Record for a large multispecialty physician group. The Epic Clinical Analyst provides intermediate system-level support of multi-user clinical and financial applications, operating systems, hardware, software, and reporting tools, including installation, configuration, training, maintenance, and support of these systems. Requires intermediate knowledge of systems analysis. Ability to take direction and actively complete physician or leadership lead system support requests. Able to manage requests with varying levels of complexity.

Specific Skills Required

• Ability to serve as a primary resource for at least 1 or more application modules.
• Ability to gather, translate, and communicate business or clinical requirements into technical solutions for application implementation.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive.
• Data manipulation skills; ability to manipulate and create text data for analysis and application of unique Epic System settings.
• Prior EMR support experience; Epic EMR Experience preferred

Education Required

• Bachelors with concentrations of Information Technology, Nursing, other related studies or equivalent professional experience • Active EpicCare Ambulatory Certification is preferred •Candidates who do not have an EpicCare Ambulatory Certification must complete the certification process within 3 months of hire
