Maintenance Technician

Full-Time - SUMMARY
Delivers packages, supplies, documents, and other items to clinic’s departments/physicians and business establishments as well as performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Travels to the delivery site on foot or by automobile.
• Keeps a log of items received and delivered; Obtains signatures when required.
• Obtains receipts or payment for articles delivered.
• Meets Medical Supply vendor on campus daily and assists with unloading packages.
• Assembles, installs, repairs, and moves new equipment, furniture, and fixtures within the clinic and satellite properties as needed.
• Assists with distributing incoming mail.
• Transport night deposits, and assist cashiers in obtaining change from the bank daily.
• Maintains company vehicle driven, such as checking fluid levels and replenishing fuel.
• Inspects facility daily and reports conditions of the building (cleaning etc.).
• Assists in the Purchasing Department as needed per Purchasing Business Manager.


HOURS: 6:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday – Friday. Occasional Saturday if needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Developing and determining the best collection methods for specific patients, such as infants or elderly patients.
• Preparing areas where blood will be drawn and ensuring the area is safe and clean after blood is drawn.
• Collecting blood samples and labeling the vials with the patients' names and the dates.
• Transporting blood samples to the laboratory for testing.
• Ensuring proper packaging and storage for the preservation of blood for donations.

• Keeping your phlebotomy cart or station well-organized and following infection control and sanitation standards.
