Clif S. Richardson, DPM
A native of Denham Springs, Dr. Clif S. Richardson received his Bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1997 and his Doctor of Podiatry Medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2001.
He continued his training with a medical and surgical residency program in Kingston, New York, during which he served as Chief Resident. While in residency, Dr. Richardson was the first resident ever to serve as an officer in the New York State Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Richardson is Board Certified in Wound Care and a Fellow in the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. He is licensed in the state of Louisiana and is an Advanced Surgical Care board member. Dr. Richardson is a member of the Louisiana Podiatric Medical Association, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.
Dr. Richardson is currently an instructor for the East Jefferson General Hospital Podiatric Residency program and an Adjunct professor at the Ohio School of Podiatric Medicine. After 15 years of private practice experience, Dr. Richardson joined The Baton Rouge Clinic on June 1st.
Dr. Richardson has been involved in many activities and volunteer work. He was a member of the medical staff for the New York City Marathon in 1999 and 2000, as well as for the Boston Marathon in 2000.
Dr. Richardson is married with a baby on the way. In his spare time Dr. Richardson enjoys traveling, hunting, fishing, photography, and billiards.
