Katherine K. Marcel, MD

Dr. Katherine Marcel was raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She moved to North Louisiana to earn her MD at LSU Health Shreveport in 2016. After medical school, she completed an Internal Medicine Residency at LSU Health Shreveport, where she also served as Chief Resident in 2019.

Dr. Marcel is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana and is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. On September 3rd, 2019 she joined The Baton Rouge Clinic’s Family of Physicians.

Dr. Marcel is married with one child and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and running.
