Ashton Hay, Au.D., CCC-A
Ashton Hay, originally from Detroit, Michigan, earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Northern Michigan University, and her Doctorate in Audiology from Louisiana Tech University in 2018. Prior to graduating, she performed her audiology externship at an ENT practice in Houston, Texas from 2017-2018. Ashton knew she wanted to become an Audiologist at a young age. She credits her younger sister, who has been wearing a cochlear implant for 22 years now, as the driving factor that pushed her to become an Audiologist.
Before joining The Baton Rouge Clinic in March 2022, Ashton worked at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has a license in Audiology in the State of Louisiana and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Ashton has published research in the Journal of the American Academy of Audiology in 2020, and has served on the board of the Louisiana Academy of Audiology since 2021.
While not at the office, Ashton enjoys traveling, visiting her family back home in Michigan, listening to music, meeting new people, learning new things, and learning all about the Louisiana culture.
