Deborah K. Gahagan, MS, APRN, CPNP
Deborah Gahagan has been an established Baton Rouge pediatric healthcare provider for many years. After receiving her B.A. from LSU, she decided to attend the OLOL School of Nursing where she received her Diploma of Nursing in 1985. She worked as a nurse in Pediatrics and in the Pediatric ICU at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center for several years before deciding to go back to school.
In 1998, Deborah received her B.S in Nursing from Loyola University New Orleans and afterwards earned her M.S. in Nursing with a focus on Advanced Child Health from the University of South Alabama in 2001. In 2002, she joined The Baton Rouge Clinic as a CPNP in the Pediatric Neurology department, where she continues to care for children.
Licensed in the state of Louisiana, Deborah is a certified CPNP through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She is a Fellow of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and is involved with the Epilepsy Foundation of Louisiana. She and her husband live in Baton Rouge and are members of the St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church. In her free time, she enjoys spending time and traveling with her children and grandchildren.
