Kristen F. Broussard, APRN, FNP-C

A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Kristen Broussard received her B.S. in Nursing at the University of Alabama-Birmingham in 2010. Afterwards, she decided to stay in-state and enrolled at the University of South Alabama in Mobile where she earned her Master’s in Nursing from the Family Nurse Practitioner program in the winter of 2013.

Kristen decided to move to Louisiana where she worked for Louisiana Spine & Sports Medicine and then Westside Family Medicine in Brusly as a nurse practitioner before joining The Baton Rouge Clinic’s Internal Medicine department in late 2015.

A member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, Kristen is licensed as an RN and an APRN in the state of Louisiana. She is certified in advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support, and she is a certified AANP Family Nurse Practitioner. Married with two children, Kristen enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and spending time with her family during her free time.
