Dealing with the fear, uncertainty and changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic not only causes stress and anxiety in adults. Kids feel the effects of their changing world as well and may also be stressed or worried. This video includes a few things you can do as a parent to help reduce stress in your children.

  • Try to maintain a regular routine
  • Include daily:

    • Healthy meals
    • Exercise
    • Creativity
    • Free time
  • Plan age-appropriate activities
  • Encourage time outside
  • Connect with family and friends
  • Limit exposure to media
  • Listen to worries and concerns
