Job description:
The Baton Rouge Clinic, AMC is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN to provide quality nursing care services to the patients of our Clinic and the physicians providing their care. In these positions, the MA or LPN will be responsible for scheduling, injections, pre-certifications, procedures, referrals, Rx call-ins, and phone triage.
- Assisting physician with procedures
- Scheduling procedures
- Patient care
- Rx call-ins
- Various clerical duties
- Calling in prescriptions
- Completing pre-certifications
- Administering injections
- Managing referrals
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and collaborating closely with the physician and clinical team to ensure efficient and compassionate patient care.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism are essential.
