Allergies are reactions of the immune system to substances that, in the majority of people, cause no symptoms. Immunology is the study of the body’s immune system. Symptoms of allergic diseases may be caused by exposure of the skin to a chemical, of the respiratory system to particles of dust or pollen (or other substances), or of the stomach and intestines to a particular food. Asthma is a chronic, inflammatory lung disease characterized by recurrent breathing problems and which can be caused by allergens, infection, or other external factors.

Our board-certified allergist/immunologist have advanced training and experience in the techniques of determining what causes an allergic reaction and how best to solve the problem. They work to develop the optimum strategy for treatment and relief of your symptoms by prescribing a balance of prevention and medication.
