Our board-certified neurologists are trained in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system. This includes stroke patients, patients with Parkinson’s disease, patients with seizure disorders, and patients with headache disorders – to name a few.
In their treatment of multiple sclerosis, our neurologists utilize the latest medications that have been found to be helpful in stabilizing this disorder.
EEG or brain wave tests are performed on site as are nerve and muscle testing. Some of our physicians are trained to use agents like Botox to treat spastic muscles that can occur after a stroke or due to cerebral palsy and occasionally may use a baclofen pump if spasticity is concerned.
