Radiology Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various imaging modalities and demonstrate proficiency in providing high-quality diagnostic images. This role requires a commitment to patient care, safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including urgent care and emergency settings.

Duties

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during all imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to evaluate patient conditions and determine appropriate imaging techniques.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with patients and staff.
  • Provide patient education regarding procedures and ensure comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Assist in the maintenance of imaging equipment and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs to uphold high standards of diagnostic radiology.
