Dr. Blake Bourgoyne, a native of Brusly, LA, earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Centenary College of Louisiana in 2015, and his Medical Degree from Louisiana State University (LSU) Health and Science Center – Shreveport in 2019. He completed his residency in Psychiatry through LSU at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge in 2023. During his residency, Dr. Bourgoyne was awarded Academic Resident of the Year in 2022, and he served as Chief Resident from 2022 – 2023.
Dr. Bourgoyne is board certified in psychiatric medicine and has a professional interest in addiction psychiatry. He is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana and is a member of the Louisiana Psychiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Bourgoyne is happily married with two kids. When not at the office, he enjoys fishing and hunting. Dr. Bourgoyne joined The Baton Rouge Clinic’s Psychiatric Department at Mid-City in July 2023, where he is accepting new patients.
