Dr. G. Thomas Arbour, called “Tommy” by friends and family, is a Baton Rouge native, a graduate of Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, and is a true LSU Tiger at heart. After obtaining his B.S. from LSU in 1999, he earned his M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport in 2003. He performed his residency in Internal Medicine at the LSU Health Sciences Center from 2003-2006, earning recognition as Outstanding Resident of the Year in 2003-04 and serving as Chief Resident from 2005-06. He also earned a fellowship in Gastroenterology through the LSUHSC, completing it in 2009.

After completing his medical education and residency, he returned to Baton Rouge with his wife and three children and joined The Baton Rouge Clinic in 2009. Dr. Arbour holds dual certifications in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the Louisiana State Medical Society and the Capital Area Medical Society. He is also a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Baton Rouge and enjoys spending time with his family when not practicing medicine.
