Joseph A. Larriviere, MD

Baton Rouge native Dr. Joseph A. Larriviere attended Tulane University where he graduated cum laude in 2008 and went on to earn his Medical Degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine in 2012. Heading east down the Gulf Coast, Dr. Larriviere attended at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, AL, where he performed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine. In the summer of 2015, Dr. Larriviere returned home to join The Baton Rouge Clinic.

Licensed to practice in the state of Louisiana, Dr. Larriviere is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the Phi Chi Medical Fraternity. He is also certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Larriviere is a graduate of Catholic High School and is a current member of the Catholic High Men’s Club. He, his wife, and their five children are members of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Parish. Dr. Larriviere spends his leisure time traveling, fishing, and playing golf and tennis.
