Dr. Lauren K. Petit, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2015 and her Medical Degree from LSU Health and Science Center in 2019. Dr. Petit completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Brookwood Baptist Health in 2020 and her residency in Dermatology at the LSU Health and Science Center in 2023, where she served as Chief Resident from 2022 – 2023. She joined The Baton Rouge Clinic’s Dermatology Department in the Fall of 2023.
Dr. Petit is board-certified in Dermatology and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. She has a special clinical interest in surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Petit is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
When not at the office, Dr. Petit enjoys cooking, exercising, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
