New Orleans native Dr. Ronald P. Ceruti, Jr., joined the Baton Rouge Clinic family of physicians in 2005 following the completion of his accomplished service in the U.S. Army including a tour of duty in Iraq.
Graduating from LSU in 1993 and earning his M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1996, he then enlisted in the Army and completed his medical residency including service as Chief Resident at William Beaumont Military Hospital in El Paso, Texas. He earned a Rheumatology fellowship from Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, DC and went on to serve as Chief of Rheumatology at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington.
Dr. Ceruti returned to his home state of Louisiana following his Iraq tour and his honorable discharge from the Army and joined The Baton Rouge Clinic.
He is board certified in Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds his medical license in the state of Louisiana. Dr. Ceruti also performs service in the education of medical students serving on the Associate Faculty of LSU and also with Tulane University in New Orleans.
In addition to helping his patients experiencing any of a variety of arthritic and related rheumatic diseases, Dr. Ceruti has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of Gout.
