Dominique B. Anderson, a native of Baton Rouge, obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2007, her Master of Science degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Southern University in 2011, and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree (DNP) from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2018. In 2021, she received her Post-Masters Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from Southeastern University.
Dominique Anderson is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana and holds a board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from the American Nursing Credentialing Center. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the Louisiana State Nurses Association, and the Baton Rouge District Nurses Association. Dominique is also a member of the highly accredited, Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society of Nursing.
Before joining The Baton Rouge Clinic’s Psychiatry Department in 2021, Dominique worked in the Emergency Department at Our Lady of the Lake – Ascension and the Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. She was also an instructor in Mental Health and Medical-Surgical Nursing at the Baton Rouge General School of Nursing.
While not at the office, Dominque enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids.
