Dr. Rosemary Prejean, a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, earned her Bachelor’s Degree from McNeese State University in 2017 and her Medical Degree from Louisiana State University Health and Science Center in Shreveport in 2021. Dr. Prejean completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge in 2022 and her residency in Dermatology at the LSU Health and Science Center in New Orleans in 2025. She joined The Baton Rouge Clinic’s Dermatology Department in the Summer of 2025.
Dr. Prejean is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. She has a special clinical interest in complex medical dermatology and procedural dermatology, including skin cancer excision. Additionally, Dr. Prejean is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society, the American Medical Association, and the Louisiana Dermatology Society.
Dr. Prejean is married and when not at the office, she enjoys antique shopping, cooking, trying new workout classes, and walking her dog, Phoebe.
