Samona S. Drexler, DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Samona S Drexler, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, a proud Louisiana native from Jeanerette, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 16 years of clinical experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2002, followed by her Master’s degree from Northwestern State University in 2010, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from UL Lafayette in 2016.

Throughout her career, Samona has gained extensive experience across a wide range of clinical settings, including Emergency Room Care, Urgent Care, Rehabilitation, Pre-Operative care, and Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC). This versatile background allows her to provide well-rounded, comprehensive care to her patients. She is licensed to practice in both Louisiana and Texas and holds memberships in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners (LANP).

Outside of work, Samona enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She is married to her husband, Wrenwick, and they have two children.
