Dr. Caroline Rieger, born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the College of Charleston in 2011. She went on to earn her Medical Degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – Shreveport in 2015. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Georgetown University in 2020.
Dr. Rieger joined the Baton Rouge Clinic’s ENT Department in September 2020. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Society, the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, the Public Relations Society of America, and the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Rieger completed a research elective at the National Institute of Health in Hearing and Communication Disorders and has presented her research at multiple national conferences in Facial Plastic Surgery, Pediatric Otolaryngology, and Sleep Medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Rieger enjoys traveling, doing yoga, going on hikes, eating Tex-Mex, and spending time with her husband, Thomas, their son, and their black lab, Kinley.
Dr. Caroline Rieger has been chosen as the Runner-Up of Baton Rouge Parents Magazine’s Family Favorite ENT Physician for 2023! She has previously been named the Winner of Baton Rouge Parents Magazine’s Family Favorite ENT Physician in 2022. The awards are held annually through Baton Rouge Parents Magazine, and all nominations are submitted by readers around the Baton Rouge area.
