Dr. Katelyn Forest is a native of Metairie, LA, and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Louisiana State University in 2016 and her Medical Degree from the American University of the Caribbean in 2021. Dr. Forest completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Baton Rouge General in 2024. She joined The Baton Rouge Clinic’s Hospital Medicine Group in the Summer of 2024.
Dr. Forest is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Society of Hospital Medicine. She is also certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Dr. Forest has a professional interest in performing point-of-care ultrasounds, and when she is not at the hospital, Dr. Forest enjoys traveling and going to festivals.
