Dr. Linda Y. LeBourgeois combines her medical education with a true caring spirit, evidenced by her receiving the Arnold P. Gold Award for Humanism in 2004 which is presented for achievement in compassionate patient care.

A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. LeBourgeois performed her undergraduate studies through Wesleyan University in Connecticut and in doing so, earned the Graham Prize award for achieving the highest grade point average in sciences. Dr. LeBourgeois then earned her M.D. from the Tulane University School of Medicine in 2000. Continuing at Tulane, she performed an Internal Medicine internship and a Neurology residency, completing her program in 2005. From 2004-05, she served as Chief Resident at Tulane.

Joining the Baton Rouge Clinic family in 2005, Dr. LeBourgeois is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Louisiana State Medical Society.

Married with two children, Dr. LeBourgeois and her family have made Baton Rouge their home. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as traveling.
