Cheney Stain, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University (FranU) in 2019 and then earned his Master of Science degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from FranU in 2021. Cheney joined The Baton Rouge Clinic’s Hospital Medicine Group in the Fall of 2023.
Cheney is a licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and FNP in the state of Louisiana. He holds certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Cheney is married to his wife, Alicia, and together they have one daughter. He is also a member of the East Baton Rouge Lion’s Club. When not at the office, he enjoys Brazilian Jiu Jitzu, fishing, and spending time with his family.
