Chau M. Tran, FNP-C

A native of New Orleans, Chau Tran moved to Baton Rouge in 2009 and received his B.S. in Nursing from the LSU Health Sciences Center-New Orleans in 2012. Afterwards, he earned his M.S. and was certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015. Chau furthered his education by becoming certified as a First Assistant, allowing him to work directly with surgeons during procedures to facilitate the procedure and process of surgery. His practice background is in perioperative care, the goal of which is to provide better conditions for patients before, during, and after operation.

Chau is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed in the state of Louisiana. He is also a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Married with two children, Chau enjoys traveling with his family and fishing in his spare time.
