Hillary R. Gelpi, DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Hillary R. Gelpi obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2007. She worked as an RN at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center for several years while attending graduate school at the University of South Alabama. After receiving her Master’s in Nursing Degree in 2011, she obtained certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In March of 2012, Hillary joined The Baton Rouge Clinic and worked as a Nurse Practitioner in the Internal Medicine Department and at our Urgent Care Clinic for nearly 12 years.

Hillary went on to pursue a terminal degree in Nursing and obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree in 2023 from Southern University. In the Summer of 2024, Hillary returned to The Baton Rouge Clinic to join the Clinic’s Hospital Medicine Group (HMG), where she works as a full-time Nurse Practitioner in the inpatient setting. Here she cares for acutely ill patients, hospice patients at The Butterfly Wing, urgent care patients, and patients at several of the HMG outside facilities.

Hillary is a member of both the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Residing in Baton Rouge, she along with her husband and three children, are parishioners of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and enjoy weekly Sunday mass followed by family dinner. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, working in the yard, and boat riding.
