The COVID Vaccines for ages 6 months and older have been approved by the CDC, and will be available by appointment only at Pediatrics at Perkins location the week of July 5th.

Traci T. Brumund, MD, FAAP

Dr. Traci T. Brumund, a Chattanooga, Tennessee native, earned her B.S. in 1990 through the Georgia Institute of Technology and her M.D. in 1994 from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, continuing there to perform her internship and residency in Pediatrics. She served as Chief Resident during her program. Dr. Brumund joined The Baton Rouge Clinic in 2001.

Dr. Brumund is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and holds licenses to practice medicine in both Louisiana and Georgia. She is certified in Basic Life Support and in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Brumund’s hobbies include traveling, fitness activities, and reading.


Dr. Traci Brumund has been chosen as Baton Rouge Parents Magazine’s 2nd place Family Favorite Pediatrician for 2017! The awards are held annually through Baton Rouge Parents Magazine, and all nominations are submitted by readers around the Baton Rouge area.
