Dr. Carly T. Montcalm, a native of Monroe, LA, earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences from Louisiana State University in 2016 and her Medical Degree from Louisiana State University Health & Science Center in New Orleans in 2020. Dr. Montcalm completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2023. She joined The Baton Rouge Clinic’s Pediatric Department in the Fall of 2023.
Dr. Montcalm is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana and the state of Alabama. Her professional interests include newborn medicine, breastfeeding, and supporting new parents. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and holds certifications in Basic Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation, and Advanced Pediatric Life Support.
Dr. Montcalm is married to her husband, Zeb, and together they have one daughter. While not at the office, Dr. Montcalm enjoys cheering on the LSU Tigers, cooking, listening to live music, reading, spending time outside with her family and dog, and traveling.
