Make holiday breakfasts memorable with this easy oatmeal and fruit recipe. Healthy oatmeal is more fun to eat with a snowman smiling back from the breakfast table!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 cup plain dry oatmeal (gluten free if needed)
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp wheat germ
  • 1/8 banana (4 slices)
  • 1/2 kiwifruit, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp blueberries
  • 2 strawberries, sliced

Preparation

  • In a saucepan, combine milk, oatmeal and brown sugar and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until oatmeal is softened. Add wheat germ and stir to combine.
  • Arrange the banana slices, kiwifruit, blueberries and strawberries to make a snowman and tree shape, if desired. Serve immediately.
